Silver is a very talented and athletic gelding. Young for his age, he raced 152 times and retired sound. He has been barefoot for the last 4 years. He's fun to ride, in fact he's almost always been ridden in just his halter. He is an outstanding athlete; agile, quick on his feet, smart and endless energy. With the right training, there is no doubt he could excel as a reining horse, barrel-racer, jumper or endurance horse. Silver was an orphan and has a heart of gold, not a mean bone in his body. He did not, however, have the advantage of learning manners from his mother, so he can be a handful on the ground. He's a real pistol! His latest job for the last four months has been as a babysitter to a now 8 month old filly. He is turned-out with her and her mother every day. Silver is a sweetheart if you get to know him. He's not too tall, just 15.2 h, but built like a quarter-horse and ready for a job. Please contact us to make an appointment to meet him!
